Tribute to "Sprinkles"
Don and Debbie with their beloved "Sprinkles"
Treasured Friend I lost a treasured friend today The little dog who used to lay Her gentle head upon my knee And share her silent thoughts with me... She'll come no longer to my call Retrieve no more her favorite ball A voice far greater than my own Has called her to His golden throne. Although my eyes are filled with tears, I thank Him for the happy years He let her spend down here with me And for her love and loyalty. When it is time for me to go And join her there, this much I know... I shall not fear the transient dark For she will greet me with her bark. Author Unknown
We lost our dear Sprinkles in March of 2011. She was with us for 15 years. She was not just a dog... she was our daughter in every sense of the word. Sprinkles came to work everyday but we cut her hours back to just half a day when she began to get tired. She had her bed next to my desk and a dog box full of toys. She went to every meeting and every interview. You can learn a lot about an individual with a dog in the room. Sprinkles traveled on weekends to Florida and flew in the cabin with us. She had to have a health exam before going on the flight and traveled in her Sherpa Bag. She was a little fashion diva and wore her Louis Vuitton collar with an attitude!!!
