Hello "Sweet Sparky"

How are you doing? I want to tell you that I am the person
who adopted you and that we are really anxious for you to
come and live with us. In a short time you will leave your
High Calling Cocker Family, and come live with us in
Illinois. I know you will be sad to leave your mom, dad,
brothers, sisters, and the Martin family, but "Sparky being
adopted and getting a forever home will also make you a
very, very happy puppy". Being adopted makes you a very
"Special Puppy", because you were chosen from the other
puppies by me. Your brothers and sisters have also been
chosen by special people.
I believe you will love your new home. We live in the
country on a farm which has plenty of room for a puppy to
play. I need to know some things that you will need like,
What kind of food will you eat? I know Hill's Science Diet
is really good for puppies, just ask Leilani about that.
Whatever Sue says you will eat, we will get for you. I was
looking for toys for you and I was going to send a toy, but
everything has squeaky things in them and I would be
afraid you might swallow them, so I decided to wait on toys
until you get home, but do not worry you will have toys,
nice bed, food and water dish. Yes, there will also be
grooming, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and Veterinary
visits. These things are all for you because we will love you
very much. When you come home Sparky, I will teach you
many new things that you will need to know, like sit, stay,
come, potty, and walking with a leash. We will take walks,
rides in a car, and play together. Sparky, you have no idea
how happy you will make me; as I have been very sad
without having a dog. I do have a very nice kitty cat; so
you will share the house with him and I am sure you two
will love each other. Mickey is the kitty's name, and I
believe he has also been sad without a dog.
This Friday you will be six weeks old, you are growing up
so fast, and before you know it you will be on a plane
coming to your loving forever home. Sue will let us know
when the time will be right for you to leave. I also want to
tell you I am so proud that you are doing so "beautifully",
as Sue said. I say prayers for you everyday, that you are
walking, eating, and growing very well. One very important
thing I need to mention is that you will have "Endless
amounts of LOVE".
Prayers to you Sparky.
Love,
Your adopted family,
Linda

I wish I could send you a Christmas picture, but unfortunately the weather is so bad that
my "Mommy Linda", has not been able to get to town for over a week, and so she
cannot
get any pictures developed. Due to icy roads my first family Christmas has been
cancelled until Sunday. On Sunday I will get to met some more of my family. I just love
people. The LP gas man came the other day and I just loved him. He picked me up and I
tried to get his glasses. My "Mommy Linda" had to rescue him from me. What fun I had
with him! I am now jumping up on the sofa. My "Mommy" wants me to be on the sofa
because she said the other doggies before me slept on the sofa and she wants me to
be
able to do the same. She says it is comforting to have a dog by her. That sounds pretty
neat to me. Oh by the way my Mommy said "thank you" for giving her the idea about how
to protect me and the Christmas tree. You told her some people put play pens and
doggy
pens around them. Well she did not have any of those things, but did have a baby crib
so
she used two of the sides and put them in front of the tree. Our tree sits in the corner
and that was all that was needed to keep me from jumping on it.
Even though I do not have a picture to send, my "Mommy" said we should write so we
could wish you a most "Blessed Merry Christmas and good Healthy New Year to all the
Martin family, and all the High Calling Cockers! I also hope all my brothers and sisters
have a wonderful first Christmas and New Year in their new homes! One more thing my
"Mommy" says even though I came in August I am the best Christmas present ever!
God Bless you all.
Love,
Sparky and Linda

Hi Sue:

I just go home with Sparky, he is so precious, and
loveable, he is so beautiful. He arrived at the airport just
wonderful, so cute in his crate. We were all worried about
him, but he did not looked worried. They thought he was so
cute at the airport. They could not believe he came so far.

Thank ever so much for a "Special Puppy".
Blessings to you all ,
Love,
Linda
Sparky and Sue,

Just wanted to let you know I will be waiting at the airport for
you tonight. I hope your Vet. appointment goes well. I am
trying to get the house puppy proof for you, Sparky. Give
hugs and kisses to everyone in the Martin household for
taking such excellent care of you, and also all the High Calling
Cockers, and especially Daisy, your mommy for raising such a
beautiful puppy.

Praying for safe travel, Sparky

I will be forever grateful to you, Sue for this precious, prefect
puppy, I promise I will love
and take care of him, as I know he is a "Special Puppy", and I
do believe God wanted me to
have him. I do believe God answers prayers.

God Bless to you all,

Linda
Hi, "Mommy", Sue,

This is Sparky, from Astoria, IL.  I am sending you some pictures, so you
can put them on my webpage. I  hope you like them. My "Mommy", Linda,
took me for a check up at the vet office yesterday, Thursday, August 21st.
All of the people thought I was SUPER!  I gave Dr. Stacey kisses and she
really made over me.  I visited with everyone in the clinic .  Dr. Stacey said my
new "Mommy" got a real "GEM".  She believes that also!  Guess what?  I
even got a puppy starter kit! Chew toy, Frontline Heartworm pill, Science Diet
Small Puppy Bites food, booklet and DVD on how to train me.  Mommy says
she may need to crate train me.  I hope that will be ok.  I got all of these
things "free", because, I am a new puppy! I am doing GREAT here.  I go
outside and play in the yard.   You should see how fast I can run!  I have
seen thing I have never seen before...butterflies, birds and TV.  Everything is
so new to me.  Mommy says I'll see many new things and learn something
everyday.  I know she loves me and everything will be wonderful here.
"Mommy Sue", I really want to thank you and GOD for helping me when I
was so little. God bless you and the entire High Calling Cocker Family. Enjoy
my pictures!

Love,

Sparky
Hello Sue:
Congratulations on the Beautiful new puppies! I am sure you are
very busy with the new arrivals. Sparky is doing very well, he
got his rabies shot yesterday. I am glad he is done with all of his
shots, as they worry me about giving them so many. He had
company Sunday and was so glad to see all of these strange
people. Always so glad to see people. I could not ask for a
friendlier puppy.
I hope all of the new puppy owners enjoy their new puppy as we
are enjoying Sparky. He keeps us busy, but I am so happy to
have him.
I am hoping we will be able to put up a Christmas tree this year,
but Sparky may have different ideas about that.
I will send some new pictures, when I get them developed.
Again Best Wishes on the new babies.
Blessings
Linda
