Maureen picked up her new baby boy, Riley, at All Creatures Animal Hospital in Amherst, NY. She was able to speak to Dr. Heather Allen, DVM, following Riley's examination and was happy to learn passed his examination with flying colors!

Dear Sue,
Here are some photos taken of Riley today. He is so adorable! He has adjusted beautifully. Behaves in the house and in his crate, loves to run and chase the leaves, and responds well to everyone! Thought you might like to see these.

Hi Sue,
Your concerns are heartfelt! We managed to miss the storms and had
smooth sailing (both weather and traffic) back to Erie. Riley never
made a peep all the trip home, slept like a baby! When we got here, I
walked him around the grounds and he rolled on the lawn for a while
then chased me around the circular drive! When we came inside his
new digs, he smelled around, ate, drank, and then promptly peed and
pooped in the yard!!!! He is one smart puppy!!!
The gentleman I see, came to my house to meet the new "mama's boy"
and remarked, "Riley, you now have the life of Riley"!! You just won the
doggie lottery and don't know it yet!!!" After our much oohing and
aahing, Riley went into his crate and was quiet all night!
Day two.... Riley continues to be a keeper! He is such a joy and
adjusting so well to his new home. He is having much success with the
concept of "outside". Yesterday Riley watched the family swim and
delighted each time one of the grandkids jumped into the pool and
splashed. He was then eagerly passed from one adult to another for a
little "affection" while we watched the kids. He is just so adorable!
Sue, it is so obvious how much you love these puppies, dealing with
you has been a pleasure. I will keep you posted...know that he will be
loved and cared for always!
Warm regards,
Maureen
