Good afternoon Sue,
How exciting new puppies; I guess I can never get enough of seeing the new
babies. I know what it feels like now watching them grow and then being able to
bring them to their forever homes.
The girls are doing very well. I wish I could get a picture for you of what our
nighttime sleeping arrangement is; Mandi likes to sleep right next to me, and
Lexi likes to wrap herself across my neck like a little neck warmer LOL, if I try to
move her she is like a rag doll.
I am going to try to capture some video of the girls using the ramp to the bed,
Mandi runs up and down it; Lexi runs up it part way and struggles to climb over
the end of the bed (instead of going all the way up, I guess she thinks it is a short
cut) and she skis down it. It is hard not to break out laughing just thinking about
it; she puts all four paws out and glides down on her tummy, it is absolutely
hysterical!!
Mandi is really beginning to like to be brushed. I am trying to brush each of them
a little bit each day; Lexi wants nothing to do with the brush or the dryer after her
bath. I have started both of the girls on goats Kefer (it is very much like yogurt
only thinner). We will see how that works for them, there are so many good
cultures in it for both the girls.
Thank you again for the girls and I know all of the other families will be just as
lucky to get a puppy as I was.
Hugs
Deb

Susan,
Yes I have read the blogs and looked at the pictures they are wonderful
stories and pictures ; I have spent alot of time on your web site lately.
They bring back so many good memories of my little Brandy, tears of
course also but remembering the good times and looking forward to the
future for a new little one to love and pamper gets me through the sad
tears. So many people have wondered why I want another cocker
spaniel; they just do not understand what gentle precious breed they
truly are; smart, loyal, and so eager to please, but I do not need to tell
you that, you know all of this.
Looking at Lani in the snow reminded me of a picture I took in 2004. In
Washington State we do not see much snow; lots of rain but not much
snow. I am not sure Brandy had really experiences snow but she did go
out and play in it that day, she really did not know what to do and she
really did not seem to like it too much, she was used to being pampered
not we and cold. I have also sent a couple of other pictures you might
enjoy. Tabitha is the Himalayan sitting in the chair with Brandy, they
were together alot of the time, most always sleeping together in a chair
or bed.
I have also sent another picture of Brandy at Christmas, surrounded by
all of her presents; so many toys so little time :)
Take care and enjoy the rest of your evening.

This is Brandy. She has gone to wait for Mommy and Daddy at the Rainbow Bridge. I hope can make my new mommy and daddy as happy as Brandy made them when she was here. I heard that there are a lot of toys at my new home! Love, Lexi
