We live in scenic Western New York, on the shores of Lake Ontario. This is truly
a beautiful area! Much fruit, such as apples, pears, cherries, prunes, plums and
especially apricots and peaches are grown here. We live in a very temperate
climate, being that we are located between "North Ridge" and "the lake". We
don't get the heavy snow that the area south of Buffalo is known for. This
wonderful area where I live is also famous for its grapes, and there are many
wineries nearby.
I am very fortunate to have been able to retire from my full-time job of 15 years at
our local hospital, to become a "stay-at-home" mom...at last!!! My family enjoys
their mostly Scottish heritage and several of the "kids" have participated in the
Highland Games at the local Celtic Festivals. I am one of the Organists and am the
Director of the Adult Choir at our Missouri-Synod Lutheran Church. My Lord, my
husband, our 14 children, 7 grandchildren, my cockers, and my white doves are the
joy of my life! We have been truly blessed, indeed!
